Philosophy
​
At Destined for Greatness Christian Academy, we believe that each child has unique gifts and abilities given to them by God that must be nurtured and developed. We also believe that children develop best when they are provided with an environment that is caring, safe and provides high academic expectations. They are motivated to learn when they receive positive support when they succeed at something. This builds their self-confidence and motivates them to continue to strive higher. We also believe in having clear rules and expectations that must be followed in order to keep the learning environment safe and productive for everyone. Our curriculum is an individualized, Biblically-based, character building curriculum that helps students progress to the next level in their academics by filling in any learning gaps and helping them to become independent thinkers and problem-solvers.

Mission Statement

We aim to develop children and youth who love and honor God, are responsible, demonstrate Godly character and are contributing members of society. We strive to develop an atmosphere where each child feels valued, and that they academically, socially, and economically matricuate regardless of their deficiencies. We want our children to demonstrate competency in Reading, math, Science, Language Arts and the Bible. We want them to be able to think critically, have good communication skills. Our desire is to partner with parents to train and develop their child using God’s Word. Together we can accomplish Proverbs 22:6 which says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Our Teachers
Our Teachers have a Florida Teaching Certificate or at least a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of Teaching Experience.
